Celia has got me all enthusiastic again - I am going to redo the Wilcockson research as I don't know whereabouts in the house it is. I was already in the middle of some interesting research on the daughter of Sarah Wilcockson. But as this blog back to front business gets me all confused I'm going to lay it out first the other way around so when I read it, it'll be the right way round if you can follow me. So you will see a lot of empty posts till I get round to filling them in. I think the best way will be to put the name in the title in capitals when I have finished that name. I came to the conclusion last time, that in order to understand the Wilcocksons in Preston it would be necessary to look at the other quaker families in Preston at that time. It would have been a small close community and of course the Satterthwaites are related. So at some time it would be interesting to follow the other Preston families. That is why you will see other names cropping up.
I am going to concentrate on the family of David and Esther, and try to finish the research on Sarah first or else I shall forget what I was doing.
